You can purchase the original certificate that proves you have crossed the Arctic Circle. It is available in two versions and thirteen languages: Chinese, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

Mrs Eleanor Roosevelt opened the original Arctic Circle Cottage built to welcome her to Rovaniemi on the 11th June 1950. Since then the Artic Circle Information has been the long-standing selling point of the Arctic Circle Certificate.
The now well known "winter" version was taken from a hand painting of a reindeer.

The Certificates can be ordered for groups before hand by sending us the name list. We fill out the certificates by hand with the person's name, the date they are at the Arctic Circle. Our signature and most important, a special Arctic Circle stamp with the date.
